Wednesday, October 29, 2014. I got to spend two weeks with Jesse and Sarita and Stella beginning just a few days after she was born. I got to hold and snuggle her and watch her parents do the same. I got to see her go from this size to a pound and a half bigger in just two weeks. She's a sweet and beautiful baby, and her mom and dad are very sweet with her. Monday, May 12, 2014. Our first evening out on the beach. This amazing statue of Neptune was my favorite part of Virginia Beach. The Boardwalk in Virginia Beach. Its lined with hotels and has Air Force jets flying overhead at regular intervals, breaking the serenity, but adding to the unique ambiance. Here's another view with Neptune in the background. Friday, January 16, 2015. Its a long flight to Connecticut, but made longer when we had a five hour delay in Chicago! It was all worth it, once we got there though. Tuesday, June 23, 2015. New Haven, CT June 2015. I was fortunate to find a flight that went all the way to New Haven, so I didn't have to ride a bus and train from Hartford this time. Wednesday, July 9, 2014. We had a great time in Newport Beach the week of the 4th of July. The house was a little dumpy, but it was big enough and right on the beach. These cousins love each other! Everyone wanted to be in a picture with Daniel. We were really happy Jake and the kids could make it for part of the week. Barb and Evan out for an early stroll. It was so good to have Jake come! These kids are digging for sand crabs. They caught quite a few. Bella couldn't get enough of holding this happy baby.
