Look at these pieces for use of SURFACE TEXTURE, COLOR, and overall SHAPE. Thursday, November 4, 2010. A GOYA for Halloween. A Halloween visit from the Ghost of Francisco Goya (18th century Spanish painter). Students in Art 1 created a mural in his style. Goya is known for his "dark" imagery, which was a metaphor for the troubling times he lived in. The Design Class Blog.
