Tuesday, January 4, 2011. SIC'EM BEARS.well, maybe next year. So my parents came back from Colorado driving through St. Louis and spent 2 nights with us.the first night we just stayed home, made soup and sandwiches and relaxed.and then the second afternoon/early evening it was GAME TIME BABY! You see my parents are Illinois Alumni and I am Baylor Alumni - so when both our teams were chosen to battle in the Texas Bowl.I knew we would have a WALLACE FAMILY THROWDOWN! Sunday, November 28, 2010. On Saturday night, Matt and I started the first of hopefully many Christmas-. Saturday night we headed to the St. Louis Zoo (who is celebrating 100 years this year) for their annual Wildlights! You get to walk through parts of the zoo and they are completely decorated with Christmas lights, and the penguin exhibit is open! It was so much fun - we had a great time! Tuesday, December 29, 2009. Battle of the Alumni Insitutions (kind of). Ok, so technically the battle was last night (Monday) on the opening day of the Marriott Cavalier Classic.and technically it was between the No 20th ranked UVA Hoos vs. Samford (the school where my law school was located). And the result.UVA defeated Samford, 69-60! Then today to for the championship, UVA took on Liberty in a tough in-state battle. However, UVA remains the Cavalier Classic (33-0)! Can't wait for COLORADO on thursday!

Monday, October 4, 2010. Just Call Me.Green Thumb Marlow. So if you know me, you probably already know this.but, I HATE yardwork. I mean I loving mowing the grass and did it as a chore when I was growing up.but as far as pulling weeds, seeding, raking, etc.I HATE it! I mean absolutely, positively HATE it! So, you are probably wondering why I spent 4 hours on Monday doing just exactly what I hate.yardwork! Well, the house that Matt and I are renting - we love it! For right now in our lives, it is perfect!
