Thursday, June 26, 2014. OMG we did art and this is my favourite one so far except the dye went all weird and kinda ruined it. We did this piece quite a while ago but we had to chose a piece to post on our blog. I just chose a whole lot of random symbols and some I copied off a book. Monday, April 27, 2015. For the past week our main topic has been the ANZAC's and WW1. I learnt that the war started in 1914 and finished 1918. I liked watching the videos, seeing how the soldiers lived for 4 years in trenches with rats and diseases. I also liked seeing the medals and learning what they were for and who received them. Tuesday, August 26, 2014. This week we've been talking bout elections and parliament, ya. I didn't know that much about that kinda stuff so, ya I've learnt a lot. I learnt that every 3 years (in New Zealand this day is on a Saturday which is convenient) you go to a pooling booth and cast your vote. I learnt that you can only vote if you are- 18 years of age. Also all New Zealand citizens and permanent residents. I learnt that new Zealand is divided into 70 special areas. I also learnt quite a lot more!
