Wednesday, December 8, 2010. The next craft itch. I saw these butterflies ages ago and bought them with the thought of making a mobile. Finally I decided I would just go for it. It looks hilarious, yet fabulous at the same time. Saturday, June 12, 2010. Let there be light. First actual sunny day in weeks (mid 70's in Seattle . whoo hoo! I first put the pool in the back yard at 8am (because it's never too early for a pool), and realized it wouldn't get too much sun all day. Moved the pool to the front yard by 9am to catch the sun all day . and within 30 minutes all the neighborhood kids had joined in the fun. Reminder for next time . have enough food in the cupboards for 6 additional kids! Saturday, June 5, 2010. Again, such glee!

Tuesday, November 30, 2010. The wrong sort of check. Yesterday when I picked the girls up from school, my mind was elsewhere. So I thought the Director had said "we need another check" . meaning we had forgotten the next month's tuition. I noticed that she was scratching her head at the time . I realized later that night, when reading an email from her to all parents, that what she had indeed said was "we need another check" . you know, of their hair, for lice! Friday, November 30, 2012. Keeping the tooth fairy busy. A picture tells a thousands words. Sophie used to have a typical cheeky, toothy, 5-year old grin in all her photos. Now, more often than not, she hides the top row of teeth or closes her mouth completely, with only the corners of her mouth revealing a slight smile. Thursday, November 7, 2013. Rain, rain, go away. November is historically the start of the crappy weather here . where we don't see the sun again until well into next year. Sure, there's a ton of snow in the mountains which is great for skiing and the like and sure, it's doesn't really ever bucket down with rain or get super cold . but I am a sun lover. We've had rain here and there, but then November came and boom, like clockwork, the rain is here to stay. I still say blah! November 8, 2013 at 5:36 AM.

Friday, November 1, 2013. Day 1 again of NaBloPoMo and I just got home so there's no great post from me tonight! I doubt I'll post every day for a month . but you never, never know! Wednesday, November 13, 2013. Me again. How ya doing? Love the communal backyard thing you have going! Nothing better than seeing and hearing neighbor kids all hanging out. So anyway . H E L P . . ! What have I got myself in for? Went to my first girl school leader training tonight. There is so much to know and learn and discover!
