In the House Where We Live: evolving style
http://inthehousewherewelive.blogspot.com/2010/02/evolving-style.html
In the House Where We Live. Friday, February 5, 2010. I took out the two vests and looked at them for a minute, and decided not to finish them. Wearing vests isn't really my style and I wasn't sure they would fit anyway. For the first time EVER, I decided not to finish a project, and I didn't feel bad about it. I hadn't sewn the lining to the fabric yet, so I cut out as many squares for fabric blocks as I could and then threw away what I couldn't use. Steven and Merilee Swain. Kids, Shopping and More!

In the House Where We Live: April 2009
http://inthehousewherewelive.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
In the House Where We Live. Sunday, April 12, 2009. After the excitement of the Easter party activities on Saturday, it was time to focus on the spiritual aspect of Easter today. We had a good Sacrament meeting (though I missed most of the talks- I was in the mother's room feeding Alex. Yes, we do have a TV there, but there were other mothers in the room and from where I was sitting, it was a little hard to see the TV). Happy Easter to all my blog readers and may you have a wonderful spring! We started o...

Stimpsons In Utah: May 2011
http://stimpsonsinutah.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Sunday, May 8, 2011. Normally when I am putting up a post, I usually know what I am going to say and make a point out of. But today, I am feeling a little lost. I think the best gift I can give to her is to memorialize her which I did after her death. I will just drop a few that I know about her . . . At age of thirty-nine, she married my step father. They were deliriously happy! Our step-father . . he is so lonely! We felt so sad! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Quotation of the Day. View my complete profile.

Stimpsons In Utah: January 2009
http://stimpsonsinutah.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 26, 2009. Sewing, Tree cutting, and Christmas photographs. I just completed my sewing project that I started at Deaf Center in Salt Lake City. I went to Deaf Quilter's Club on third Saturday and learned how to do appliqué style with a heart shape. It was so fun doing all of those varieties. This is tree cutting activity which resulted in Clinton getting injured. This tree is so BIG and I felt so amazed that just four men could take care of it in a day! Wednesday, January 14, 2009. Just pu...

I learned from the book how to do quilting precisely-. 4 While you do free motion sewing, use rubber gloves that you won't have to press down too firmly. I am still worki...

Stimpsons In Utah: Forever Family
http://stimpsonsinutah.blogspot.com/2011/06/forever-family.html
Sunday, June 5, 2011. While I was looking into Foster program for option of adoption, I was amazed to see that the phrase, "Forever family", often came up in every background of every child that is waiting for adoption. I truly can feel that yearning every child has for a permanent family and permanent stability. It is truly amazing thing and a miracle when they have found their "forever family". Forever family . . . is our ultimate goal. It is enough for mother put in as her last words t...
