Sunday, October 12, 2008. My family, friends, and community celebrated as I was baptized into the Catholic faith at the end of September. I was happy to wear my mom's 30 year old baptismal gown - mom even got out the "yellow" age spots just for the occasion. I looked a bit like a pilgrim, but loved the attention my fancy get-up scored. Monday, November 24, 2008. I received my first "report card" last week at school. For each 'work', I received a grade of "A = attempting," "F = does frequently", "M = has mastered", or a big fat goose egg. Well, I only received an "A" in "walking unassisted" and nothing in the "walking while carrying a toy" category. So, I have been working hard to increase my grade in both to "M"! Monday, November 24, 2008. Winter in the Northwest. I am not sure why my parents (mainly my dad! Complain so much about the rain in the Pacific Northwest. Sunday, November 16, 2008. My trip to North Carolina. Last weekend, Mom and I flew to North Carolina to meet my Uncle Brant, Aunt Meaghan, and cousins Braeden and Eliana. I had a fantastic time and Mom is STILL raving about the yummy coffee - weird, since I hear that Seattle is supposed to have raging coffee!
