الأحد, 17 أيار 2015. من مواليد مكة المكرمة عام 1338 ه الموافق 1919 م. تلقى تعليمه الأولى و حتى الثانوية بالمدرسة الفخرية العثمانية ومدرسة الفلاح عام 1355 ه الموافق 1936 م , ثم التحق بكلية دار العلوم بمصر و تخرج فيها عام 1359 ه الموافق 1940 م. عمل مدرسا في المدرستين تحضير البعثات و المعهد العلمي السعودي , ثم مراقبا عاما للبعثات بمصر عام 1369 ه الموافق 1943 م . حضر مؤتمر الأدباء العرب الذي عقد ببغداد عام 1385 ه الموافق 1965 م.
