I love when she smiles so big that it looks like her cheeks are going to burst! It was hard to choose between all the cute pics from our chair sesh this month. He meant to bring his truck catalog to show Santa a picture of the one he wants, but we forgot it! Jesse was home, my mom was here, and there was no traffic on the way to the hospital. Had she given us a little more time, we could have staged an epic April Fool's prank, but as it was, we barely made it to the hospital in time! Nope Happy First Birthday, sweet baby Claire! You bring so much joy to our lives and we love you!

On the downside, we've taken fewer pictures, she's the object of less doting, and there are markedly fewer blog posts devoted to her every achievement, be it miniscule or momentous. Our trip to the park last week was a perfect reminder of this. Fortunately I was able to capture this adorable video of sweet, easy-going, want-to-gobble-her-up cute baby Claire enjoying her first swing. Don't forget to turn up your volume. I just love this girl!
