Don't be too expressive. Naming things in code is hard. We programmers know that. So we came up with some rules of thumb to make our code more expressive. For example, we all know its bad to name a method. It doesnt give a single clue of what that method does. So we better use methods with longer names, correct? Decoupling forms from persistence. I’ve been using a different approach to handle form data in the project I’m currently working on, with the awesome folks of Pure Charity. This approach is called Form Objects. It’s based on Adam Hawkings’ Rediscovering the Joy of Design.
