A Year of Books: January 2011
http://yearofreads.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
A Year of Books. Dedication to 50 books in the next year. Archive for January 2011. 16 "The Hunger Games" by Suzanne Collins. Two in one week? I must be on a roll! The truth is, I literally had 17 different books going at the beginning of this week and my goal is now to start finishing them before I start any new ones (with the exception of my book club selections, because I HAVE to read those, obv). Anyhow, I am officially down to 15 now; yay me! Was a fantastic book! This book is definitely RECOMMENDED.

Bellis Perennis: Ah, senses
http://janabellisperennis.blogspot.com/2011/05/ah-senses.html
Sunday, May 8, 2011. Isn't it amazing how a smell can instantly take you back to a memory- a time, place, or person in your life that you haven't thought of in years? Today, I had one of these experiences. It was from chap-stick. The original, black label, disgusting smelling chap-stick brand lip balm. Of course, I also have many smells that bring back pleasant memories, or memories of people I love. What smells bring back memories for you? Are they pleasant or unpleasant? Sunday, May 08, 2011.

Bellis Perennis: Time for a change
http://janabellisperennis.blogspot.com/2010/08/time-for-change.html
Thursday, August 5, 2010. Time for a change. I haven't blogged in a long time. I guess I've been busy, or maybe I just haven't had much to say. Maybe it's because Katie found out I have a blog and I don't want her making fun of me. Oh well, whatever the reason, I'm in the mood to blog today. Since my wedding. Seriously. 20. That was only 4 years ago. No It took a lot of time to put the weight on, and I know it will take some time to take it off, but I'm ready to give it a try. Here's hoping. Jana, you ar...

Bellis Perennis: March 2011
http://janabellisperennis.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 22, 2011. My love affair with running. I've recently started to run again. There are times in my life when I love running, and other times in my life when I think it is torture and would rather do ANYTHING other than running. Right now I'm in love with it. I'm even training to run the Dam to Dam 20K race (that's 12.4 miles) in June. I know it isn't for everyone, and in 6 months I may be "over" it myself. In the meantime, if you want to go for a jog with me, let me know! Probably not, becau...

A Year of Books: June 2010
http://yearofreads.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
A Year of Books. Dedication to 50 books in the next year. Archive for June 2010. So, I've made my decision. Well, technically my book club made my decision. kind of. I will be starting my first book of the challenge in two days. I've decided to read our first book club selection as my first book, mostly so that I can pass it along to someone in the NIBC (New Improved Book Club! When I am done with it since I SHOULD have it done in a week or less, right? The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time.

A Year of Books: April 2011
http://yearofreads.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
A Year of Books. Dedication to 50 books in the next year. Archive for April 2011. 19 "Night" by Elie Wiesel. The most interesting thing to me about Wiesel's account of what happened at Auschwitz (and other camps) is reading about how desensitized the prisoners became, no longer caring who died, whether a family member or not. That is very real to me and, maybe it's the psychologist in my coming out, but how could you not become that way after years of living in a concentration camp? 171; Older Posts.

Bellis Perennis: Somehow I became a cat lady
http://janabellisperennis.blogspot.com/2010/07/somehow-i-became-cat-lady.html
Thursday, July 1, 2010. Somehow I became a cat lady. I never, ever thought I'd say this, but I am a CAT LADY. At the end of last year, we adopted a kitten. We named him Gizmo (like the Gremlin). I never thought I wanted a cat. I used to make fun of people who had cats, because I thought cats were dumb pets and I hated how everything had to be on their terms. Here are a couple more pictures of my little buddy. So go ahead, make fun of me. I would if I were you. Thursday, July 01, 2010. Subscribe to: Post ...

There are two more trip worth coming from last Thanksgiving and also more recently this Valentine’s Day. Read it like it was last year, yeah? So, this was unplanned. Just a couple of weeks ago Marco was interviewing with the Orlando Sentinel and now we are moving him down to Florida. But, what better time to have an adventure, right? We are in the...
