Bought for $600, or a dollar per cc, I got it from some Russian guy in the Valley and I was consistently stunned that it kept working. A chronicle of my motorcycle trips. June 13, 2012. I had heard about the Iron Butt Association for months – an organization dedicated to safe, long distance motorcycle riding. To join the IBA, you have to prove that you’ve completed their minimum ride – 1000 miles in 24 hours. Baby Jack helps me prepare the day before we leave. The sun comes out over I-10E.
