North Carolina, his girlfriend survived, and was released from the hospital this afternoon. Adam had two cousins living there, and the other is on a plane on his way home to be with his family. Adam and his sister are currently sleepi...

I Was An 18-24 Demographic: May 2012
http://stuartavenue.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
I Was An 18-24 Demographic. Tuesday, May 15, 2012. A little over a year ago, April 22nd to be specific, I wrote an essay on my life as a dishwasher. And how, well, shitty it was. Alright, it wasn't all. Bad, but I was feeling pretty low. I had finally quit the job in spite of the fact that there were no other prospects lined up. On the day I put in my two weeks I rationalized my decision, saying to myself "I could get a job at Barnes and Noble. Yeah! They'd hire me, wouldn't they? I also have the benefit...

http://stuartavenue.blogspot.com/2012/05/high-school-amirite.html
I Was An 18-24 Demographic. Tuesday, May 1, 2012. High School, amirite? I didn't want to go to sleep last night. The reason? I was too busy rocking out on my awesome guitar to want to! It was pretty sweet. When I finally began to wear myself out it was 3AM, and Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion. Had started on TBS. It's an alright movie in the way it merges Dumb and Dumber. Teacher). Y'know what, though? Just like I just said, I made it out in one piece! Those Rose Tinted Glasses. I treated that pl...

I Was An 18-24 Demographic. Saturday, March 5, 2011. The Stalwart Lily Bart and the Traits and Tools of a Coward. Links to this post. The Social Network Not-Review. I've just finished watching The Social Network. The credits are rolling at the moment and there's a very soothing kind of ambient music playing as the text rolls by. The credits are over now though, because I checked a few facts on Wikipedia and Google (Mark's birthday and proper italicization (that's a word? Already is Catcher In The Rye.

I Was An 18-24 Demographic: September 2011
http://stuartavenue.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
I Was An 18-24 Demographic. Saturday, September 10, 2011. There's been an important slip of paper in my wallet for the last few years, a list of sorts, and for whatever reason, I've been worried about it. Beyond losing my wallet I can't honestly say that anything will happen to it, but I have recurring and unnerving thoughts that something may. Happen to it. It's just a slip of paper at its most basic form, but it represents a memory so potent and vibrant that I could never bear to part with it.

Just another day.: RIP Michael Jackson
http://thediaryofamadwaitress.blogspot.com/2009/06/rip-michael-jackson.html
Thursday, June 25, 2009. He may have been a little strange, but you can't deny that he was a musical genius. I have loved him ever since I was 12. He was a year younger than me, and I think that most girls my age felt like they owned just a little part of him. Goodby Michael, I pray that you will find peace. June 25, 2009 at 7:21 PM. And I am a little sad that hes gone. June 30, 2009 at 9:49 AM. July 9, 2009 at 2:17 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Somewhere, In the world, United States.

Just another day.: Another great shift...
http://thediaryofamadwaitress.blogspot.com/2009/07/another-great-shift.html
Wednesday, July 22, 2009. So today I went to work. This is my 3rd of 14 shifts in 17 days.Anyway, thats not the point. So that too was embarassing! I went up to the manager on duty and told him what was going on, so he went over and talked to the table, and as soon as I walked out to check on my table they point at me and say "that one! Too bad they ruined my entire night though. Im sorry those two nasty women were also too aware of their surroundings. Theyre old, theyre not supposed to be perceptive!
