Sunday morning we finally closed the door to our flat for the last time. We loaded up the bikes and said goodbye to our neighbours, Martino and Emma. La vie sur 2 roues. Mercredi 31 juillet 2013. Hier nous avons dormi un peu plus longtemps car cest une journée de congé. Nous sommes restés chez nos amis pendant quils travaillaient. Nous avons déjeuné tranquillement puis David a lu et jai mis à jour le blog. Dans laprès-midi, jai fait une petite sieste et David est allé au bout du terrain pour défricher un petit sentier qui se rend à la plage dans le but dy aller le lendemain matin. David a un sac de dessus de support arrière MEC et Andrée un sac de guidon Aquanot. Équipement transporté pour une randonnée en camping. Sur le vélo de chacun. 2 bouteilles d’eau. 1 sac au sec.

A Bike Journey is the account of our bicycle tour from the UK to Australia. Over the course of 15 months we cycled 18,168km, our route. Took us through Europe, Turkey, Iran, India, South East Asia and finally through the Australian Outback. We arrived at our destination, Point Lonsdale (just south of Melbourne) on the 2nd of September 2011. Along the way we had some fantastic adventures, experienced amazing hospitality, explored new cultures and had the time of our lives.
