There was a guy who wanted to go to the head of the queue waiting in a bank counter and the reason he gave to the others was, "Sir, the queue is very long.". As though we were all blind and couldn't see it. Talk about stating the obvious! Once I get out of the Army, I'm never going to stand in line again!

For starters the tv had provision for only 6 channels. And when the knob was twisted to any of the 6 possible positions we'd end up with the same channel everytime, DD.
