The Art and Times of Nicholas Hendriks. Over the past few months I have been taking Sam Nielson's online class. I can't say enough about this class. Sam Nielson has a very logical, practical way of teaching lighting in a digital medium. His classes are very in-depth, but easy to understand. Anyway, enough plugging. Also the composition isn't stellar. Either the troll needs to be closer to the middle of the frame, or the knight needs to be pushed to screen left more. I found that little Art Fundies sketchbook that came in our art kits and decided to use it. So I filled the first few pages with highligher/pen/Sharpie art 8D. With an angry sun and a big head. Saturday, April 9, 2011. Sorry, I don't post very often. Was working on ye olde website and realized I needed to get my blog at least somewhat up to date! So here's some puppet progress I never posted:. Her body is made of make-up sponges. Kind of hard to trim to a smooth surface, but very soft and squishy! This was where it got really exciting! Her skin is pantyhose. The thread is there to hold it against the sponges while the silicone cures. Now have some random film stills! Posted by Zuza Jarota.
