Welcome to Swedish Lapland and the great subarctic wilderness surrounding the most northern town of Sweden, Kiruna. Located 100 kilometers northwest of Kiruna is Abisko Guide, at the small village of Abisko. The village is situated next to the mighty lake Torne Träsk in the heart of the wilderness. Abisko is known for it s National Park wich is one of the oldest in Europe, it s scenic landscape and the start of many hikingtrails where the famous Kungsleden is one of them.

Abisko Guide is a company located in Abisko, Swedish Lapland. We offers a broad variety of activities. From easy day tours to more demanding activities such as ski touring,winter camping courses and winter expeditions. Tim is also a dedicated photographer and have studied nature photography at Øytun folkehøyskole in Alta, Norway. He has long experience with still photography, time lapse and video production, mainly focusing on landscape and outdoor photography.

Onsdag 16. september 2009. Tyvärr hade vi inte tillgång till nät de två sista dagarna på vår tur så det blev inga långa rapporter. Dag 7 var ganska lång, 35,5 km och 2100 hm samt passage av hela loppets högsta punkt, Rappen Scharte på 3012 möh. Som jag nämnde på Twitter så var stigningen riktigt brant. Just innan passet satt en man och spelade bastuba, mycket inspirerande! Sista dagen var det något kortare, 28 km och endast 1800 hm alltså som från låkkta anhalt till Abisko via låkkta toppen till björklid...
