In 2012, the Calcasieu Medical Society Foundation, was able to present the Calcasieu Community Clinic with $120,000 - money raised through community support of A Black Tie Affair. This money is being used to provide much needed medical care to the working, underinsured in our community. We are asking for your support of this annual fundraiser again this year. Below is a schedule of sponsorship levels for your consideration. Diamond - $20,000. Platinum - $10,000. Gold - $7,500. Silver - $5,000.

The Calcasieu Parish Medical Society is a non-profit organization representing the health care community in Southwest Louisiana. The Calcasieu Medical Society Foundation is the fund-raising arm of that organization. This Foundation held the first A Black Tie Affair fundraiser in 2006 to support the Calcasieu Community Clinic. The Calcasieu Community Clinic is staffed primarily with volunteers. Opportunities to serve on Thursday evening include positions for physicians, nurses and pharmacists. Non-medical volunteers are needed to help screen applicants for eligibility and assist with medical records maintenance.
