Tuesday, February 21, 2012. Today it's been 8 years that my Dad passed away. I miss him so much. I keep thinking it's going to get easier each year but it sure hasn't. It feels like it was yesterday. I'm so grateful to know that I will see him again. I wish he was here to see how happy I am, to meet my wonderful husband, for Jackson to know his Grandpa. Days like these are hard. I love you Dad! Tuesday, March 22, 2011. Thanks to everyone who is praying and fasting with us as we prepare for Jackson's surgery tomorrow. Jackson's surgery is scheduled for 10am tomorrow and it will last a couple hours and then we should be home tomorrow evening. We are very grateful for all the love and support that we are receiving. Friday, March 9, 2012. Playing Fish with Grandma. My mom has been a huge help while I've been recovering from neck surgery. They enjoyed fishing together! Wednesday, June 18, 2014. Jackson turned 6 in May. He got to open his presents from Mom and Dad on his real birthday and then we had his birthday party at Super Jump again this year on the following Saturday! The kids had lots of fun! Covering his eyes while Dad brought out his big gift that wasn't wrapped! He loves his Electric Scooter! Jackson's Party at Super Jump! Last Day of Kindergarten. Wowhow time flies. Thursday, November 1, 2012. Jackson's Montessori School Field Trip to Scholtz Farm. I was so excited to be able to go with Jackson on his field trip with his montessori class to Scholtz Farm. We had so much fun seeing the animals, going on the tour, feeding the chickens and picking out a pumpkin. Jackson decided to help mommy make cookies. It was so much fun. Tuesday, July 31, 2012. Jackson had his first swimming lesson last night. He was a bit reluctant to get in the pool but once he did, he had a blast. He can't wait till his next lesson on Wednesday. Wednesday, September 7, 2011. We had so much fun in Ocean Shores. We rented a cabin just off the beach. It was great to have some down time. Ocean Shores is a special place for our family since it was my dad's favorite place to visit. He loved the Ocean. We spent time on the beach, went go-karting, played miniture golf, had the best fish and chips around, played at the arcade, and went on bumper boats. The weather was beautiful. It was the perfect weekend except for wanting to stay longer.
