A Blog About Flags

A Blog About Flags. Friday, October 29, 2010. Oregon really has it going on! Stereotypical Oregon Trail wagon. The words "The Union". All inside a crest of sorts. Plus, some long-time-ago date which signifies something. But more importantly, it's a two-sided flag! Huge props to Oregonians for going with two unique sides. There are literally only a few two-sided flags in the world. There simply ain't enough two-sided flags out there! Links to this post. Sunday, October 24, 2010. Links to this post. And fr...

A Blog About Flags: Seychelles

http://ablogaboutflags.blogspot.com/2010/10/seychelles.html

A Blog About Flags. Sunday, October 24, 2010. The Seychelles are a bunch of islands off the coast of Africa you've probably never heard of or will ever visit. But they have one of the more unique flags ever. The oblique bands are meant to symbolize a dynamic new country moving into the future; blue represents sky and sea, yellow the sun giving light and life, red the peoples' determination to work for the future in unity and love, white social justice and harmony, green the land and natural environment.

A Blog About Flags. Sunday, October 24, 2010. Who's your daddy Canada? Norfolk Island yo daddy:. And from this tree will fall a single leaf. A solitary reminder of where you came from. a blog about family - Blog

A blog about family. We probably aren't shocking many people when we say that we used to dread laundry. It seemed to pile up faster than we could do it, and we regularly had to resort to marathon folding sessions when we finally got it clean. What was worse were the complaints and occasional accusations from our children, like, "You didn't do my laundry, and now I don't have any clothes to wear! The white spaces of the scriptures. You can watch a wonderful short film about the Hubble Deep Field here.
