We had a wild and wonderful Thankgiving week with a total of 23 people all running around having a fun family fest! Sunday, June 14, 2009. Friday night was my niece's Broadway debut! At 10 years old she has officially performed on Broadway. The real deal. And in "WICKED" no less! Here's how it all went down:. We got to go backstage and meet some of the cast and experience the hair and make-up, wardrobe and music preparations. The whole thing was exciting. What a weekend. i wish i would have written during that time.but things were a little crazy! Baby decided to take his time coming and mom/dad/baby finally went home. That about sums it up. Read elyse's blog for all the details. Let's just say that i sat there holding this baby and wondering how in the world MY daughter had a baby. She isn't old enough. Seems she is getting payback. In september, when i registered the kids, i was taken aback. high school registration, which we were told would be MUCH simpler, was awash in paper work. then the check writing started. don't get glenn going on this topic because the check writing hasn't stopped. there wasn't much we weren't paying for, including spanish workbooks and parking permits. go figure, i had to.
