What on earth would I do with a bunch of fabric scraps you may ask? Here are a few ideas! My friend Laura makes these cute headbands out of yoyos she makes from fabric scraps! This is the one I bought. :o). You can also put yoyos on pillows, wreaths, and on and on. Who doesn't love a cute strand of bunting? I love this with different fabrics!

Monday, February 28, 2011. Red carpet review}: Academy Awards. Without a doubt, everyone looked beautiful last night! Red and nude were the colors of the evening. Slightly disappointed - the brunette was hoping for purple). But Mila Kunis pulled through with the lavender gown and is the brunette's best dressed pick. Another absolute favorite of the brunette (a little controversial) was Cate Blanchett in Givenchy Couture in a beautiful lavender/pinkish color. I'm in love with her slightly messy simple bob.

Monday, March 21, 2011. I found my missing hot pink jump drive today in the pocket of a pair of pants! So I am celebrating hot pink today! I love Abigail Ahern's style and this table is so eye catching! In a good way). I think a small pop of neon color against a dark backdrop is so stunning! But for a fun spring/summer look - I really love it in a white space too! But we can't let pink have all the fun! I mean, neon is a LOT of look, so I love just door or a table, just something that grabs your eye!

Thursday, September 30, 2010. Somehow I've let 3 weeks slip by without mentioning (once again) how much I love animals! Several months ago, I spotted a beautiful embroidered cloth on Man Shops Globe while Anthropologie's master-shopper Keith Johnson (he would probably be offended by that title but I don't know what his title is) was visiting Mexico. This vivid textile is hand-embroidered by the Otomi tribe in the state of Hidalgo, Mexico. Each piece can take months to complete. To cover outdoor seating.
