http://senseandsimplicitee.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
8220;There is nothing like staying at home for real comfort.” -Jane Austen. Saturday, January 23, 2010. I ahve been crocheting for so many years now that I wanted to put my hand back into knitting for a bit. Since everything I make seems so simple I decided to challenge myself. Cables! What should I cable? When I reached the first cables I was quite intimidated, looking up some how-to videos on youtube.com in advance. Much to my surprise they were incredibly easy. I couldn't believe it! Why I Chose To Se...

Random Ramblings: August 2014
http://kristens-randomramblings.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
My boring life, as it is. Thursday, August 7, 2014. When we got out of the car they crowded around us. I tried to sit Lyric in the grass but all the ducks crowding around scared her. We were enjoying the breeze and shade! This time she didn't cry. I guess because there were only three ducks versus the forty. Links to this post. Tuesday, August 5, 2014. Hard to believe our little baby is already over 10 months old. Her 1st birthday is in 6 weeks. She's a little stinker and I love her to death!

8230; one DiY at a time. Skip to primary content. Skip to secondary content. The Ogre and I. Newer posts →. November 2, 2012. For months, literally, I’ve treated our dining area as nothing more than a hallway. On one side, a glass topped table… On the other, a brown paper bag console table. No art. In fact, the only ornamentation was the fruit bowl. I put together. The console has exactly three candles and a mirror. The room does need artwork and some tweaking, but that will come in time. I’d really love...

Sense and Simplicity: You can't Beat Comfortable
http://senseandsimplicitee.blogspot.com/2011/06/you-cant-beat-comfortable.html
8220;There is nothing like staying at home for real comfort.” -Jane Austen. Sunday, June 26, 2011. You can't Beat Comfortable. When I pick out furniture I am often torn between comfortable (or practical) and beautiful. Even while I peruse my monthly Elle Decor I often see a picture of a chair or sofa and wonder about how it sits. Is it comfy, stiff, do the owners ever actually USE the furniture? This was a couch someone could spend the night on! See that cat there on the left? I love the way the pillows ...

Sense and Simplicity: March 2011
http://senseandsimplicitee.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
8220;There is nothing like staying at home for real comfort.” -Jane Austen. Saturday, March 5, 2011. Guest Bath Mini Makeover. The guest bathroom is small and I was so needing a change to something. I decided to tackle that room since there isn't much wall space and the ceiling is a normal 10' height. I wasn't expecting a decent faucet to cost so much! Buh-bye to the $10 faucet! Please excuse the mess in the pics - I remembered to take the before pic after I had brought in my tools.). Strip lighting abov...

I am Kelly and I love to crochet, sew, quilt, knit, scrapbook, cross-stitch, make jewelry, and just about anything else that is crafty! I am currently a stay-at-home-mom that lives in Northern California with my husband, 18 month old son and 2 kitties. I suppose I picked pink because another girlfriend of mine just had a girl.
