Holly's Talking Hands: My best laid plans...
http://hollys-talkinghands.blogspot.com/2015/06/my-best-laid-plans.html
Letting my hands do the talking- on the computer and in life. Saturday, June 27, 2015. My best laid plans. I like plans. And structure. And I like them a lot. I like how they move you places and give you a framework to build on once you're there. I like how they map out the future and give me concrete things to work towards. And that's when I freak myself out. Because I start thinking about things that are about 15 steps past the point I'm currently living and I realize I'm not ready for those steps.

Holly's Talking Hands: Lonely
http://hollys-talkinghands.blogspot.com/2014/10/lonely.html
Letting my hands do the talking- on the computer and in life. Sunday, October 19, 2014. This is one of those blog posts that is going to be hard to press publish on. This is one of those blog posts that something deep within me is screaming, "Don't write it! So here I am. Typing away. Working up the nerve to tell you what's going on in my heart and mind right now. And it's not easy. But I know in the end it will be worth it. So here it goes. And that often leaves me feeling very lonely. Don't get me wron...

Holly's Talking Hands: Rough Day Thankfulness
http://hollys-talkinghands.blogspot.com/2012/11/rough-day-thankfulness.html
Letting my hands do the talking- on the computer and in life. Wednesday, November 21, 2012. Today we celebrated the five and a half months we got to have this little guy, Jared D Manwiller. A Savior who offers a hope and a promise that isn't just good in this life but also the next. A family who sticks together. We cry together, laugh together, and tomorrow we'll just hang out together. Journals to process life that happens. Jesus music to heal and encourage. Laughter. It soothes the soul. I will look up.

Holly's Talking Hands: Hard Nights and Healing
http://hollys-talkinghands.blogspot.com/2012/11/hard-nights-and-healing.html
Letting my hands do the talking- on the computer and in life. Tuesday, November 20, 2012. Hard Nights and Healing. A part of me isn't sure I should post this. But I try really hard to be open and honest on here and this is where my heart is at, so here it goes. Nights are the hardest. These are the times when I can't shut my mind off. I've had to come up with some "coping" mechanisms. really they're healing mechanisms. The thing about healing is that it doesn't take place overnight. as much as I woul...

Holly's Talking Hands: November 2014
http://hollys-talkinghands.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Letting my hands do the talking- on the computer and in life. Wednesday, November 19, 2014. Happy 19th Re-Birthday to Me. I woke up this morning and as soon as I saw the date I knew the importance of the date. Today is my 19th re-birthday. Today is the 19th anniversary of the day I chose to follow Jesus. And because of that, today is special. How could I not respond to a love like that? How could I not choose to follow Jesus when I've experienced that kind of love, forgiveness, grace, and mercy? I'm seri...

Holly's Talking Hands: Aching Heart
http://hollys-talkinghands.blogspot.com/2014/07/aching-heart.html
Letting my hands do the talking- on the computer and in life. Sunday, July 27, 2014. I contemplated not writing this blog post. It would be easy to never press publish, but that would defeat one of the purposes that I have for this blog: to let you see how I'm growing in Jesus and who I am in him. It's a place for me to be completely honest. Sometimes that's easier said then done. Okay, so here it is:. Excited and happy for you. But it still makes my heart ache a bit. But sometimes my heart still aches.

Holly's Talking Hands: December 2014
http://hollys-talkinghands.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Letting my hands do the talking- on the computer and in life. Tuesday, December 30, 2014. I love them. They're how I make my living. They're how I spend my free time. both devouring them in the form of books and creating with them in the form of this blog and journaling and a million other ways. I don't know what it is about words that brings me such pleasure. But there's something about specific words that just fit. And I want to share them with you. Joy is one of my favorite words right now. If I'm...

Holly's Talking Hands: Redeeming Dates
http://hollys-talkinghands.blogspot.com/2014/11/redeeming-dates.html
Letting my hands do the talking- on the computer and in life. Sunday, November 16, 2014. I have this thing about dates. As in, days on the calendar kind of dates. I remember birthdays, anniversaries, and other "important" dates easily. Most of the time, this is a good thing. Sometimes it's a hard thing. Dates that have good times and memories associated with them are fantastic to remember. But that's not the case. But God's teaching me something. He's reminding me that I don't live there anymore. He's re...

Holly's Talking Hands: Not Quite Normal...
http://hollys-talkinghands.blogspot.com/2014/07/not-quite-normal.html
Letting my hands do the talking- on the computer and in life. Wednesday, July 30, 2014. Today was a day of firsts. It was the first time I had a house guest. It was the first time I was late to work. It was the first time I called 911. It was the first time I had an ambulance in my driveway and a firetruck parked in front of my house. It was the first time I've had on duty first responders in my house. And I thought it was going to be a semi normal morning. Then we went to bed. It was fairly normal.
