Fragments from my thoughts. And much much more. Book Review – The Secret of The Nagas. After reading The Immortals of Meluha. I knew I definitely will have my hands on the sequel. Author has taken characters and names from Indian mythology given them ‘life’ in this book with intriguing tale and everything seems to connect pretty well. His writing definitely touches the heart. As the second book starts from where the first book ends, the chase is on. While the events in 1st book saw story opening in M...

Fragments from my thoughts. And much much more. Book Review – The Immortals of Meluha. 8216;The Immortals of Meluha’. Is one atypical piece of writing. I was actually captivated by the cover design when I first saw it at Landmark, Baroda. This book can be considered in a new genre – mythological fiction. You come across various mythological characters but more into a ‘humanized’ form. Have you ever thought as to what if Gods were not immortal beings but mere mortals? The Author has tried to mix the Hindu...

The artcraft blog: An Apple a day
http://theartcraftblog.blogspot.com/2012/09/an-apple-day_29.html
Saturday, 29 September 2012. An Apple a day. Yesterday was fruit day at my son's school. This inspired me to restart posting. With a second baby at hand and restricted to the house,I tried using the stuff around my house to create something which doesn't get torn enroute. I used brown fabric paint and red and green crayons from my sons box to create this apple cut out worn as an apron. Thank fully it survived the journey and came back.:). 2 October 2012 at 07:35. The artcraft blog: Painting on a bedspread
http://theartcraftblog.blogspot.com/2011/08/painting-on-bedspread.html
Monday, 22 August 2011. Painting on a bedspread. I wanted to do something different with fabric painting. So I got this picture from the web.It is a very nice picture with clean strokes. Initially I just drew it to a small white cloth and did my own version with fabric paint. Then the idea of an enlarged version on a bedsheet.Instead of doing a line by line version as in the first place,I did a freehand enlarged version to make this handpainted bed spread. 23 August 2011 at 01:52. 2 September 2011 at 22:53.
