A Bookful of Ideas. What story is playing on your mind? My Mind’s Projects and Challenges. April 28, 2013. I’ve always enjoyed writing. Since a very young age I remember staring at the computer screen or notebook and imagine all the things I could write on that blank page looking back at me. Some years later I even found childishly written texts among old files I kept from previous computers. Entrei numa livraria. Pus-me a contar os livros que há para ler e os anos que terei de vida. Não chegam! Certainl...

They were marching through the deserted outsider suburbs of the capital, away from the constant sound of the machines and steam engines. The soldier looked around. A Bookful of Ideas. What story is playing on your mind? My Mind’s Projects and Challenges. September 11, 2013. Henry Reed ran as fast as he could through the streets of London, jumping through the obstacles he ran into on the way. The sun was almost setting and its light was barely seen through the thick smog layer that covered the skies causing the street lights to light along the grey sidewalks. Where do you think you’re going, kid? Henry looked up, startled by the sudden address to him. One of the...

Thoughts from a Rowing Boat. A Bookful Of Ideas. May 20, 2013. Just a small bit of self advertising…. I decided to make a writing blog, meaning, a blog where I put all of my writing stuff – short stories, random chapters from random projects I want to finish, old fanfiction… anything. If you are curious you can head over to A Bookful Of Ideas. And see… It is still a bit empty, but I hope it will be more complete as time goes by. Thank you for reading! There’s Nothing More Perfect As Clockwork.

A book from Snowy River
Monday, 3 March 2014. Review: A Witch in Winter. A Witch in Winter (The Winter Trilogy: Book 1). When Anna finally discovers she has powers, she takes it all in stride and you get the sense she is just an ordinary girl, nothing out of the ordinary, which was a relief for a change. That is until she meets a new group of witches, new friends and Seth. Now that is torment! Simple cover with a girl and a backdrop of a house and lightning. Nothing too spectacular, but not dull either. On to book two! I am cur...

News from Snowy River
Thursday, 22 September 2011. Apologies for the lack of news updates. i have been streaming updates on twitter recently and will be using this page to discuss news further. One thing I would like to mention is the increasing use of apps for books these days. I discovered just recently that childrens picture book apps are on the rise, particularly seen with Penguin and now Hodder Children's Books. App that uses this well. Penguin. Hodder Children's Books has also come out with an app for Hugless Douglas.
