Wednesday, November 22, 2006. I guess this goes to show that I've been in Africa long enough to have pretzel logic - a twisted way of seeing things. Posted by Louise Koonce. Six 2 Charis: 09/01/2006 - 10/01/2006

Friday, September 29, 2006. What has really changed? As I sit in the Accra Guest House awaiting the arrival of our good friends and former teammates, Frank and Jenna Bunner, I have been wondering if things will have changed very much through their eyes. It has been two years since they moved away from Tabligbo. Still there may be a few notable changes . . . The toll booths (that have been under construction for over a year) are now open! This should be a painless process . . . right! You can probably gue...

Six 2 Charis: Spring? Cleaning
http://six2charis.blogspot.com/2006/11/spring-cleaning.html
Saturday, November 18, 2006. Posted by Louise Koonce. I can only imagine! I'm glad it happened without house guests there yet! Becky's phrase, "I can only imagine," was what had come to my head and I was going to write until I saw that she had already used it. Maybe it helps to know that you have friends who can. Imagine and feel your pain and frustration. Blessings to you and yours. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. They Didnt Count The Costs. He Joined The Ranks.

Six 2 Charis: No Refunds
http://six2charis.blogspot.com/2006/12/no-refunds.html
Thursday, December 21, 2006. I suppose there are cases when you buy some one a gift and it breaks before you get it home or you find out the recipient already has a whatchamacallit. So you run back to the store and return it. After standing in a long line you have exchanged the gift and are on your way with another idea. Christmas gift-giving takes on a different look in Togo. I felt sorry for the one that agreed to take the deceased animal, I would have returned it to the store for him if it worked that...

Ten minute musings: A mysterious growth.
http://tenminmusings.blogspot.com/2006/11/mysterious-growth.html
Let's muse together for ten minutes or so. I'm hoping it will be a blessing. Sunday, November 26, 2006. It is a mystery to me, the growth of the church. Sometimes it is so subtle and hidden as individuals mature. Then, their faith grows and begins to boil, spilling over into the lives of others. When this happens it seems that the church just explodes and you look around as I did at the women's conference this morning and just wonder, "Where did all these people come from? Who planted these crops? Novemb...

Ten minute musings: A new name
http://tenminmusings.blogspot.com/2006/11/new-name.html
Let's muse together for ten minutes or so. I'm hoping it will be a blessing. Friday, November 24, 2006. Among the Watchi the name you receive is usually based on what day you were born. That is, until the fateful day when you first “need” major assistance from the voodoo spirits. On that day your name usually changes to reflect whatever voodoo you have been linked to. This name then becomes who you are in more ways than one. So, all of you out there who have regularly prayed for Houndzo, please stop.

Ten minute musings: A little randomness ...
http://tenminmusings.blogspot.com/2006/12/little-randomness.html
Let's muse together for ten minutes or so. I'm hoping it will be a blessing. Friday, December 8, 2006. A little randomness . This photo is descriptive of more than can be analyzed in ten minutes worth of musing. It speaks volumes about our lives in Togo. Taking chances; hoping for the best; what will one more hurt; sure we can do it; we'll take what we can get; and "Are we there, yet? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Blogging Friends of Mine. The Great Inversion: January 2007
http://thegreatinversion.blogspot.com/2007_01_01_archive.html
Living in the Kingdom of God and intimately experiencing our Lord should turn everything on it's head. The great inversion should be a reality for each of us who claim to love God with all our being.
