Wednesday, October 14, 2009. Princess Party Part 1. I realize I have not been a good poster on Adaline's blog lately, but I knew the grandparents would start to complain if I didn't post birthday pictures soon! Adaline decided she wanted to have a Princess Party for her fourth birthday, and we had such fun listening to her describe what she wanted. I don't know if we ultimately did all she planned in her mind, but she seemed to have a grand time! Here are the pictures from the arrival time at the party.

Friday, April 10, 2009. I didn't realize when I bought the Paas Easter Egg kit that I was buying one that included painting (one of Adaline's favorite things to do.) - but lucky us! The box for glitter eggs included a paintbrush and lots of paint colors. Adaline was so excited to paint eggs - and we plan to do more painting before Sunday! Any time there is a "jumpy thing" (aka Moonwalk) available and all funds raised benefit a good nonprofit, Adaline is happy to participate! Thursday, April 9, 2009.

Friday, May 8, 2009. Dress Rehersal for Ballet Performance. Part of the reason I have been slow to post pictures is because Adaline has been keeping us very busy! This weekend is her ballet performance - yes, three year olds apparently are in ballet performances these days. The instructor (who was my teacher! Saturday, September 27, 2008. Saturday - Day Three. We rented a car (I know, we are brave! And drove to Kinsale, a beautiful town on the water. Our first stop (after several adventures with Alison driving.) was Desmond Castle. Here is Adaline on the steps before we went in "to look for Princesses! And here Adaline is - inside her first castle! Rick Steves once again had a great suggestion for lunch - Fishy Fishy! Our food was great, and we all enjoyed sitting outside in the sunshine. Tonight we ate in!

Monday, January 10, 2011. First Snow of 2011. Call it a Christmas miracle, but I am updating the blog with some pictures from our first snow in 2011. Since it has been a long time since blogging, I forgot how to upload pictures in the right order - so some of these are backwards. Oh well. :).
