Our Journey to Istanbul. Monday, September 10, 2012. September 6, 2012. On the ultrasound he found the same polyp that I had last time. The thought last time was that it might shed during a normal cycle, but unfortunately it didn't. It is small and we will still do the transfer, but he said that if I don't get pregnant this time around he wants me to have it removed back home. Well more on my journey to come. Wednesday, May 30, 2012. Turkish Kofte (meatballs) with Persian Cucumbers, Tomatoes and Cucumber Yogurt Sauce. Kofte is a traditional Middle Eastern meatball. I have made a Persian version before but after being in Istanbul for three weeks I decided to search for Turkish Kofte recipe. Food in Istanbul is simple, fresh and delicious.
