Aly's study abroad. Laquo; CPH, here I come! Falling in Love (with CPH). August 19, 2013. Today was our first day of orientations at DIS. Next, we went to Vestergade 23 to pick up our books for the year. As a book worm, I was disappointed to find out that I only got 3 books, while students in the medicine and policy programs had 10! My books did look quite interesting though. Our floor then rallied to go to the grocery store to make a group dinner. Shopping at the grocery store is actually a lot of fun.

The site was in a community now known as Carlsberg, because of the local brewery in the town. Carlsberg Brewery has moved their company elsewhere in Denmark, but was originally founded in this area. Today’s LLC activity was a visit to the Danish Architecture Center in Amager (still in CPH, just a neighborhood) to see the Zaha Hadid exhibition.
