No longer lost in translation in canto-town. Wednesday, November 30, 2005. I've made plans this weekend. Kai texted me Ko's number and insisted that I give him a ring. Ko is this Japanese friend of Kai from our Melbournian days. We have had discussions/argumenents/disagreements on whether he was cute or not. I didn't think so though I agreed that he had pretty eyes. The rest think he was quite cute but then again it could be coz he was the first Japanese that we sort of REALLY knew. Ha! Friday, November 23, 2007. Finally this looonnng week is over. Maybe its time i start considering my options. Its a friday nite but coz i've been exhausted by the whole week, am feeling too tired to even go out whilst everyone is still out drinking and partying. i feel so unhappening.sigh.what kind of life is this. Feeling so drained from the past week at work. its been quite a hectic week with dian off to her homestay hence one less person in planning. hmm.no wonder she's been feeling so tired coz i was off for 2 full wks in europe.oopps. now its my turn to feel it. Friday, November 23, 2007. Finally this looonnng week is over. Maybe its time i start considering my options. Its a friday nite but coz i've been exhausted by the whole week, am feeling too tired to even go out whilst everyone is still out drinking and partying. i feel so unhappening.sigh.what kind of life is this. After working past midnite every nite for the whole of this week, i think my body is in dire need of rest. and to top it off, this morning had to wake up at 7:30am to go for paintball game organised by our office. it was awesome, even though there were quite a few casualties, and i got shot in my butt twice.grr. but overall paintball is superb! Went karaoke with the corr-zins this morning. and accompanied them to do some shopping.it really sucks to go shopping when you know you can't afford to buy anything. am saving up for my europe trip in 2 wks time. can't wait to go! After that, its gonna be back to travelling to 3rd world countries again. Ah wells.but being at home in my shorts and glasses still beats being at work or socialising. =p. Saturday, April 28, 2007. I'm off to perhentian! Finally got my new laptop working, so decided to put it to use by editing my blog which i've just resurrected. in 2 hours time i'm gonna be off to perhentian! Even though this is my 3rd time there, but I fell in love wif the place since the 1st time I went. Hopefully the weather's gonna be nice and sunny. Anyways, gonna pack up and head off for a nice tan! Saturday, September 01, 2007. I can finally see clearly! I've finally mustered up all my courage to do lasik! It was quite an ordeal staying off lenses and being on glasses for 2wks prior to the surgery, but it was all worth it. This is the first blog entry I'm writing without any visual aid! I have clear vision once again! Don't have any sudden movement' 'don't move, don't move, don't move'. but all in all, i'm really glad i've finally done it! Byebye orange glasses and byebye contact lens!

Thursday, November 09, 2006. A new volunteer has arrived. Today's my official last day of volunteering with VSN. and my last day in pepsicola. will be moving to thamel to stay in the hotel with my parents tomorrow. having mixed feelings now. the whole experience feels like its just flew past me. Thank you Sue for helping me setup this blog, or I wouldn't have been so consistent in jotting down my experience here and would have regretted that much later.
