Chris - Melanie - Koen - Morgan - Daphne. Sunday, July 12, 2009. We had Koen's 4th Birthday Party this weekend. His friend Chloe's birthday is one day after his, so we decided to have one party for both of them. We chose a surfer theme and Chloe's mom made this awesome cake! Plus, when Koen found out it wasn't going to be a Pirate cake he was very upset. (he's into pirates right now) So Sara turned the "Surfer Koen" on top of the cake into a pirate. I was very impressed, and Koen was happy.

Chris - Melanie - Koen - Morgan - Daphne. Thursday, December 18, 2008. Morgan has changed so much! Here's a little video of what she's learned. She is still terrified of everyone but Chris and I. She says a few words (papa, mama, ball, poo, baiper). She squeals and laughs a lot. Sometimes she thinks Koen is pretty funny, but mostly he just beats her up (I guess that hasn't changed). She loves shoes, Care Bears and playing peek-a-boo. Monday, December 8, 2008. Anyone know where to get one for less?

Sunday, June 08, 2008. I'm sure those of you who live around here are well aware that we have had a LOT of rain and storms lately, for those who don't.we have! I even saw one of the top stories on cnn.com was from Franklin, Indiana (just 15 minutes south of us). The rain that started sometime in the early morning hours on Saturday and came down up until around noon on Saturday seemed to tip the scales. As we watched the rain come down from our house, I was surprised to see the street flooding outside.

Sunday, November 30, 2008. At the beginning of November. The venue is owned and run by the same folks that have The Fiddler's Three. Restaurant, so the food was great. They also have a lighted dance floor, which the kids absolutely loved. Here's a couple of pictures of them dancing it up. Here's a not-so-exciting video (I like it though) of the kids walking around the dance floor backwards. I'm not sure what started it, maybe they learned how to do it at school? Friday, December 05, 2008. We had a very nice Thanksgiving this year. We celebrated on Thanksgiving day with Elizabeth's family up in Noblesville at her brother Craig's home. On Friday, we visited with my dad's side of the family in Shelbyville. On Sunday, we visited with my mom's side of the family in Shelbyville after church. That's a lot of Thanksgiving! It is a "Hadley Pine" pre-lit tree from Sears with 800 clear lights. It's very pretty! Here's Noah showing off his skills as a magician! View my comp...

Thursday, November 29, 2007. Wow, I've been slacking. Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures this time either. This will just be a quick update on the current happenings in our lives. Her vocabulary is expanding as well. I think the latest addition is "juice" - one of her favorites. The craftsmanship was beautiful. I saw on Bruce and Alyssa's blog that she was going to (or did) "tag" us. I'm too dumb to know what that means I guess. Maybe somebody can fill me in. Night Although, we still have Journeyman.
