A Bundle of Hope. Pull up a chair…You're about to hear quite the story…. This is our second pregnancy–with the first, we found out our baby no longer had a heartbeat at our 19.5 week ultrasound. We named him Courage, because of the courage God provided Rachel to get through labor and delivery and the courage it would take to move on after the loss. So when the doctor told us that our new baby has spina bifida, we could not help but wonder, why? Trust in the Lord with all your heart. I had to let you know!

With a “deer in the headlights” look on our faces, we bombarded the doctor and nurse coordinator with questions about what spina bifida is, what we could do, and how to proceed.
