Me and my gang. Thursday, 9 May 2013. I built you a rockery.again! Some years ago I woke with one of those ideas that brink on the impossible! Not to be beaten I suggested we go a few more miles to a place we were at last week (where I forgot to look at the water features) and my hubby, being the patient person that he is (now and again) agreed. Plant for the rockery. Amidst all the vibrant colours that will bloom over the next couple of months there now lurks a black, yes black. Be gentle with yourself.

Me and my gang. Wednesday, 21 November 2012. Recently I have had occasion to pick up my needles once again but this time I decided to stick to little things that I could churn out by the dozen. How wrong I was! These weeny Christmas people take five minutes to knit and a week to sow up. They are so fiddley. Whilst knitting away one night last week a friend's words came into my head, she said " I remember when I was losing the plot, I knitted snowmen day and night". She hates sewing up too.
