Friday, August 30, 2013. As the start of school approaches and we know the hot summer days will inevitably come to an end and routines will begin, we seem to try to pack as much summer fun in as we can. We have been meeting up with lots of friends and squeezed in a few more activities that were on our bucket list for the summer. Thursday, January 31, 2013. The Apolds announced this month that they are moving to North Carolina. We are sure going to miss having these cute faces nearby! Sunday, January 20, 2013. Having activities to do in the snow makes the winter so much more bearable! Adam asks to go sledding almost daily! Monday, January 14, 2013. Evan literally fell asleep driving this tractor around the yard. That was a tasty doughnut and this is Evan's new smile. The shirts alone are funny. What a little couch potato.

Saturday, October 5, 2013. Adam played soccer on Saturday mornings this fall. He definitely learned a lot as he had never really played organized soccer before. Sunday, March 31, 2013. Rolling up his sleeves and ready to dive in. Checking on his eggs. Neighborhood crew - their were even eggs for the adults to find! So crazy to have snow on the ground! Evan was the youngest hunter. It was quite amusing to see the kids scatter! Evan was a little shy with the Easter Bunny and overdue for a nap! Monday, April 29, 2013. I am realizing that I have been really terrible about taking pictures lately. Here are some random photos to sum up the month of April in our household. Aaron continued to make frequent trips to Canada for work so the boys have been soaking up the time with their Daddy when they can.. Evan is my little buddy while Adam is away at school, with friends, or at activities. He is sweet, and funny, and mischievious all in one cute little package. These two love their rain boots!

Friday, November 30, 2012. November in a Nutshell. Looks like I am a little behind on my updates, so here are a few highlights from the month of November:. Jenn came home for a week in early November and my mom and I hosted a baby shower for her. They are adopting a little boy due at the end of December! We are so excited.. Jenn with the monkeys. A shower with some friends and family. We also hosted Thanksgiving at our place with the Schmuckers and Uncle Matt. Excited to use our new table.

Saturday, September 14, 2013. I am just realizing how long I have neglected his blog. Back in September we traveled to Washington DC to attend a reception to celebrate Kate and Greg's wedding. We made a long weekend of it and got to take in some of the sights. I guess we were really enjoying ourselves at the reception because we hardly have any pictures from it and not a single picture of the newlyweds together! Adam at the Capitol. Monday, October 7, 2013. This post is way overdue, so here are a few highlights that I can remember from October:. I spent a beautiful fall day with Adam's class at the apple orchard. It was definitely a fun way to get to meet all of his new friends/classmates. We were able to spend an afternoon/evening catching up with our Eagan neighbors. The nuk fairy visited our house and Evan did great! His new favorite thing to do is walk Adam to the bus stop in the mornings. Amy and Matt got married!
