Hybrid Collaboration was commissioned by Ingenuity Festival in 2012 and is an interactive sculpture that changes color through text messaging. The base of the sculpture is cast aluminum and the flowers are cast glass. Each flower has a high-power RGB LED beneath it that changes color based on the text messages. Viewers are instructed to send text messages with the words #red, #blue, #green, #purple.etc. and once the sculpture receives three of the same word it changes color. Check the BLOG to find out!

Is functional sculpture made of stainless steel and glass that combines elements of design with metaphorical meaning. The word revision relates to the act of seeing, which is a strong element of this sculpture as the glass canopy acts as a layer of lenses that capture and transform light. The vivid light creates a relaxing environment and simulates the feeling of immersion that is experienced in the pool. Was a public event where over one hundred participants were able to experience the sensation of floating freely through space as if weightless. With a slight kick off the ground, heights of thirty to sixty feet were possible. Was intended as a very accessible art event, something that anyone who happened to be there could experience.
