Blogger Design Consultant: The Leonardo of Silicon Valley
http://bloggerdesignconsultant.blogspot.com/2011/10/leonardo-of-silicon-valley.html
The Leonardo of Silicon Valley. I am saddened by the loss of a great innovator and modern day Santa Clara’s Leonardo da Vinci, Steve Jobs, who passed away this afternoon. If you are an Apple product user you will know what I mean, because it was his vision that propelled us into the digital era and to experience things differently. Please observe a moment of silence. 984 Super Bowl Commercial introducing. Posted by Egmont van Dyck. Wednesday, October 05, 2011. Labels: 1984 Macintosh commercial.

Banana and Cheese: October 2010
http://bananaandcheese.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 31, 2010. The prelude to our story is here:. With anticipation, Charlie, Mike and Nick started to knock on the door…. Hold on, hold on—wait a minute….there’s more back-story to be told. Twitch had been working on a project,. And was very eager to show it off. She ran to the sliding door at the house next door and batted on the screen until Banana and Cheese, who were stretched out on the floor soaking in the sunbeam, woke up and raised their heads. 8220;Now what, Twitch? 8220;Well,”...

My Kentucky Cats : Lazy Hazy Summer Days
https://mykentuckycats.blogspot.com/2016/06/lazy-hazy-summer-daze.html
Tuesday, June 14, 2016. Lazy Hazy Summer Days. This is pretty much Chatters chair now. It's cool at the base of the fountain. Back on his chair. If you look closely you can see Chatter is enjoying the day and porch along with Little Girl and Dixie. They like sleeping in between the large pots because they are cool at the base too. Dixie thinks she can stay cooler under the little table. All and all, I think Chatter has found himself a pretty nice place to live and I am blessed to have him choose us.

The Artist Within Us: The letter ‘L’
http://theartistwithinus.blogspot.com/2010/03/letter-l.html
The letter ‘L’. For about a week I have been debating if I should post a set of photographic images based on random destructive typography or a more recent illustration I had created as an expression of love for my wife. As you can see I decided in favor of the illustration because I wish it to act as a bridge to a forthcoming post, since calligraphy and typography are very dear subjects for me. Pen and coloured pencil on 100Lb. Bristol, 11 x 14” (27.94x35.56 cm). Sketching a single letter L. Y to celebr...

The Artist Within Us: Where does time go - Calendar Bookmarks
http://theartistwithinus.blogspot.com/2011/07/where-does-time-go-calendar-bookmarks.html
Where does time go - Calendar Bookmarks. The last few months just seems to slip through my fingers and here we are at a new quarter, time for another set of calendar bookmarks and the images presented are from a place I like visiting after having seen my daughter. A spot where many travelers stop off, to view the ocean and experience the feel of pea size pebbles under their feet, as others venture to the other side of the beach and are exposed to a variety of rock formations stretching some distance.

The Artist Within Us: Something new and different
http://theartistwithinus.blogspot.com/2012/03/something-new-and-different.html
Something new and different. As an artist we are always searching for way to reinterpret our visions and as I have always been in love with textures, I too have been searching for ways to interpret and apply the texture I discover in the form of a painting. So while gardening, trimming a tree and cutting all the branches down to fit in the fireplace, I looked at the pile of wood on the ground, my imagination began to run wild. Holz vor den Schuppen. Enough wood in front of the shed), 8 x 8 inches. Ive be...
