Accepting the Calling of Levi. Disability Ministry is Relational. March 18, 2013. Both of these ideas present a common trend… working with someone who has a disability must be relational. Our treatment of others must never depend upon what they are, or upon what they do to us. Martin Loyd Jones. January 22, 2013. Praise be to the Lord God, the God of Israel, who alone does marvelous deeds. Praise be to His glorious name forever;. May the whole earth be filled with His glory. Hope in the Midst of Tragedy.

Accepting the Calling of Levi. Special Needs Ministry in Churches. September 10, 2012. My home church for the past seven years, Pear Orchard Presbyterian, has a very strong and beautiful disability ministry. One of the main reasons why I am even passionate about individuals touched by special needs is because of my years volunteering with this impacting ministry at my church. It continues to teach me so much about myself, others, and Christ’s unending and sovereign love. In his profound book called.
November 2013 – Accepting the Calling of Levi
https://acceptingthecallingoflevi.wordpress.com/2013/11
Accepting the Calling of Levi. November 4, 2013. Will I one day be able to stand before a congregation and talk about the ministries I have started and the hundreds of conversions that have taken place? Is this really the most important thing in my life? What a ridiculous and worthless thing to devote your entire life to! This may never allow me to speak before congregations to talk about how great my work is going! Blog at WordPress.com. Accepting the Calling of Levi.

Accepting the Calling of Levi. Stepping into a Parent’s Shoes. October 14, 2013. Once I returned home, I immediately had to cling to God’s word for a renewal of my spirit. I turned to Isaiah 35 and was reminded of the promises of God for His redeemed people. The day is coming soon when Jesus is to return and heal His distorted creation and make everything beautiful again! I know that this promise can be as encouraging and uplifting to other families as it was to me in a sorrowful time. Create a free webs...

Saturday, December 7, 2013. Aunt Bunny comes to town! My wonderful sister-in-law came for a quick visit this weekend. She braved the icy weather to come and love on my littles and we are so happy she came. Today we made Christmas cookies. I am so thankful that Isabel was here to lead the way. She let Sophie do more than I probably would have and Sophie had a blast. Taste testing the flour. Once she found out you could eat the dough, it was tough to keep her on track. The sprinkles were a hit! Lemon Poppy...

Friday, September 27, 2013. We are busy preparing for Malcolm's baptism this weekend. Soph is practicing accessorizing while Malc is getting ready to show off his new tricks. Who is the little girl? She may have used a dwarf to "encourage" him to roll on this one. Tuesday, September 24, 2013. We had a great weekend that involved lots of relaxing around the house. Malc really enjoys sitting up so the bumbo is a fav. The 7 dwarves are a huge hit around here. Why would I push this when I can be pushed?

Monday, December 31, 2012. Sophie is having separation issues since being away from all of her cousins. They showered her with love and attention. My sister is being induced this morning and we just can't wait for Mac to be here! Christmas morning at Gran and Grandad's. All the kids come down youngest to oldest. Sophie was first this year ;). Thursday, November 7, 2013. Why is sleep so important. It really can make or break my day. My days are awesome though and sleep should not affect my attitude like I let it. I get the privilege of staying at home with these two precious people. Sophie is full of imagination, kindness and determination, note how she is still eating the cheerios with her covered hand. And oh Malcolm! I hope I can remember this is what is important. Just hanging out in my cape. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Wednesday, October 23, 2013. Taking pictures of these babies sure is fun. I never know what little moments will get captured. Sophie is not a fan at looking at the camera right now but she does love to look at her baby brother. She is always pointing at him or poking him. Thankfully Malc does not seem to mind right now. Oh the conversations these two will have. They melt my heart! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Let It Be Sunday! Confessions of a Pioneer Woman Ree Drummond. Enjoying the Small Things.

Accepting the Gift of What Is or how to make the best of it :). Resistance is futile, might as well accept, adapt and continue with grace. "It is what it is, how can I play with it? One of the more empowering questions you can ask yourself when life throughs you a curve is "Whats next? We have cultivated the mental habit of judging everything around us as good or bad, like or dislike. We also created internal habits of self blame and feel guiltily responsible for everything.
