my insight in sight: January 2011
http://alessandracard.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
My insight in sight. I feel like the title is pretty self-explanatory. Sunday, January 16, 2011. Is no sleep the answer? So without thinking I said this the other day "I just want to keep myself in a permanent state of exhaustion so God can make up the difference". Here's what I actually meant, but clearly I was too tired to make a distinction, lol. When I am exhausted and at %25, who can possibly make up the difference but God? SOOOOOO, when we ALLOW God to do what He has been wanting all along with us,...

my insight in sight: December 2010

My insight in sight. I feel like the title is pretty self-explanatory. Friday, December 31, 2010. What is our default? How many people are in that party? I asked the busser setting up the big table with silverware. I dunno, i'm just on default" was his reply. And it made me think. What is our default? Are we resentful of our friends needing us to be there and listen at 2am when they had a rough day? Are we curt with our roommates because they ask us to do the dishes? And do we love them the same? What de...

my insight in sight: Why I vote Change over Constant
http://alessandracard.blogspot.com/2011/08/why-i-vote-change-over-constant.html
My insight in sight. I feel like the title is pretty self-explanatory. Thursday, August 18, 2011. Why I vote Change over Constant. This is a season of change. I knew it 4 months ago; for me, for Access218, for friends, etc. And let's be honest, no one likes change. Ok, MOST people don't like change. ESPECIALLY when they're comfortable where they are. And yet here we are faced with change. And some big ones at that! That someone died on during testing? There's a lot of analogies in this; it's how I talk&#...

my insight in sight: August 2011
http://alessandracard.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
My insight in sight. I feel like the title is pretty self-explanatory. Saturday, August 20, 2011. Stressful day today for a lot of reasons. It seemed worse because of fatigue (I always think of Creole when I use that word :) But it was just along day in general. Nothing physically stressful except bending over all day, just emotionally taxing. You are peace, You are peace, when my fear is crippling. I like this one because it repeats, almost like "HEY! Did you hear me? I rest on His unchanging grace.
