It's summer, although it was a wet spring n Denver. And, there have been a lot of late season snow showers so it hasn't felt a lot like summer, but now it does. Is it REALLY accessible? Before I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, I didn’t think a lot about accessibility - curb cuts, ramps, and parking spaces—all the things that make my life easier now. For some reason I have never been good at asking people for help or directions. That trait has had to change significantly over the years. I am acutely aware of accessibility now, or more particularly the lack of accessibility. Are there stairs to maneuver, and how many are there? Is there an accessible ramp?

Finding the right type of support group. I’ve never been one for going to MS support groups. Early on with my disease I could cope on my own and I really didn’t want to be around people with the same problems. Because what if they were worse than me? I didn’t want to see that.
