Fare Fodder: August 2011
http://farefodder.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, August 10, 2011. A good reason to eat some breakfast. About a week ago I decided it was finally time to stop screwing around and start settling into life in Virginia. For me, that meant finding a dermatologist, car repair place, general doctor and, of course, a lady doctor. For those of you who are innocent, a lady doctor is an OB/GYN. The kind that feels your boobies and your insides in a really uncomfortable way. Moving on. The reason for the lightheadedness could have been that the day befo...

Fare Fodder: Experiment
http://farefodder.blogspot.com/2010/10/experiment.html
Tuesday, October 19, 2010. Being in college is awesome, don't get me wrong. However, there is one issue. Although I love to cook and do NOT love walking all the way to the cafe for a sandwich or bowl of pasta, I am extraordinarily lazy. So I decided that this, my final semester, is the perfect time for an experiment. I mean, if worst comes to worst, I'll have to order Chinese and Taco King a few times. Fare Fodder: October 2010
http://farefodder.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 24, 2010. Not a food issue. This post has nothing to do with food. Or fashion. Just irritation. I need to make something extremely clear. I hate Walmart. Why do I hate Walmart? Where and when did this deep-set anger toward that Hell-on-Earth begin? To answer your questions, I don't know. But I do have a list of things that piss me off when it comes to that horrible place:. 1 The outrageously low prices. Tell me how the hell my mascara in Walmart is $5 less than it is anywhere else? Being ...

Fare Fodder: Fun ways to stretch poor-people food on furlough.
http://farefodder.blogspot.com/2011/06/fun-ways-to-stretch-poor-people-food-on.html
Thursday, June 23, 2011. Fun ways to stretch poor-people food on furlough. Here I am again, with useful and hilarious information. As you know, I am being forced to take 15 days of furlough. Needless to say, I'll be cutting some expenses. As the wise Kate Moss once said, "Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels," I will be cutting back on my food spending. That means lots of beans and rice. Beansthe canned ones. I don't have time for all that soaking bullshit. Dry pasta. Duh. Chicken thighs. If you ne...

Fare Fodder: Furlough is never a reason to celebrate.
http://farefodder.blogspot.com/2011/06/furlough-is-never-reason-to-celebrate.html
Thursday, June 23, 2011. Furlough is never a reason to celebrate. So, one of the perks of being an adult is having a job. Truth be told, it'll probably be a shitty, terrible paying job with little to no benefits, but hey! For those of you who are unemployed and living in your parents' basements, this means that before December 31 of this year, I have to take 15 days off without pay. I can't even request which days, so fun vacations are sort of out of the question. June 23, 2011. Dear Fellow Employees,.

Fare Fodder: August 2010
http://farefodder.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Friday, August 27, 2010. Hello my darlings. I apologize for the delay in a new post but my life has been a bit hectic lately between work, packing, and going back and forth to school. I do, however, have a few things I want to address. First, this blog will now be featured as a link on the Quad News website; basically an entirely student run news source for the Quinnipiac community. I'm extremely excited to be a part of this and hope my writing and ranting keeps everyone entertained! Wine and Good Times.
