Currently in: Hanoi, Vietnam. June 19, 2015. Travel Essentials I Can’t Live Without. I don’t know about you, guys. But whenever I go travelling I always have a long packing list and check list prepared. I’d like to think that I’m organised and everything, but I often fail miserably. Anyway. On that list there’s always a couple of things or three (probably even more …) that are always on there. No matter what trip I’m about to make, these things are just travel essentials I NEED. To bring with me. I recom...

Currently in: Hanoi, Vietnam. Welcome to my world. So what is this all about? I’m a twenty-something Danish girl who spent five years in England as an expat. However, I decided I needed something else instead of paying rent and working 9 to 5 – even though England was pretty great. So I decided to travel the world. I’m now on a trip around the globe and I have no return ticket. I’ll go home when I’m bored. Wanna ask me something? Please click on the ‘Contact’ button in the menu above. See you on the road!

A Year Abroad – withoutaroute
https://withoutaroute.com/2015/04/14/a-year-abroad
April 14, 2015. May 12, 2015. Around this time last year I was celebrating St. Patrick’s Day in a dimly-lit Queenstown bar full to the brim with a strange concoction of Americans, Germans, Englishmen-and-women, Swedes (not the vegetable) and French. The actual Irish were nowhere to be seen – probably found a better party. Either way, we drank Guinness and watched a haggard man jovially play the harmonica until the early hours. Standard. Any feedback would also be greatly appreciated. 8211; Max I. Enter y...

If I could sit my younger self down before he left for his world trip, I would give him this advice:. Fear is a powerful deterrent. You may feel scared and nervous but you’re just as capable as anyone else. Don’t live by your guidebook.

Bon Voyage, Lauren! Affordable Luxury: USA and Europe. Hotel & Restaurant Reviews. An Afternoon in the World’s Smallest Country. April 2, 2015. I couldn’t possibly leave Rome without visiting Vatican City, a country that’s only 110 acres with just under 1,000 inhabitants. Despite the hoards of tourists that visit each year, this was something I refused to pass up. It would be like going to Paris and not seeing the Eiffel Tower. Touristy sights are popular for a reason, right? She had a more official titl...

"Let it be to me according to your word"
Let it be to me according to your word". Tuesday, April 23, 2013. You know that moment when God chooses to reveal another part of His character to you? To me, it feels like a bunch of puzzle pieces that have been slowly gathering all of a sudden came together, and I see something I never saw before. I understand something that affects how I live in the day-to-day moments. He's not dumb. He knows I'm not perfect. I believe God hates sin. I believe it grieves him. I don't understand.". Isn't that good news?

According to Your Word. How can a young man keep his way pure? By guarding it according to your word. (Psalm 119:9). April 22, 2015. Mdash; Leave a comment. Recently, our church has gone through some difficult circumstances. Since the beginning of the year we have walked with each other through chronic sickness, family emergencies, death, unemployment, and various run-of-the-mill life difficulties. These experiences have proved the maxim when it rains, it pours. But we have this treasure in jars of clay.

The happenings in my little life. Tuesday, August 11, 2015. Choosing Who I Want to Be. A couple of weeks ago I decided to use my freedom as an unemployed adult to drive to Utah and spend some time with the folks that I really love up there. She is the reason this blog still gets updated, and was the first person I met up with. A few thoughts about the trip:. Driving about 25 hours all by yourself in the matter of just a few days gives you way. Too much time for self reflection. Sunsets and creepy motels .

According to Zod (aka Ian Baum ). The Blog of a Proud American; This is Simply my version of Reality. All according to me, Zod. November 28, 2014. Raising minimum Wage is stupid. I Have been silent, mostly due to my disdain for the Stupid, corrupt and those out to do harm for not valid reason. but, There is now a group of people, mostly unskilled laborers and union supporters, who want to raise minimum wage to $15 / hour.
