Accordingly Windows set the default DPI resolution to 120 DPI not the standard 96 DPI. As a result the bitmap system fonts were changed, resulting in applications that use them to display text in a size too big for the screen as it was designed. The fix is to use the original 96 DPI fonts. Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00.
