Emmett is almost one and since my last post lots of things have happened including his first Christmas and his first allergic reaction. Now to the fun stuff. Tuesday, March 11, 2014. I think part of Keats improved sleep is the fact that he can roll onto his tummy whenever he wants to now and he is officially a thumb sucker. So I have found him sleeping on his tummy with his thumb in his mouth - adorable. Keats is also eating solid foods which may be helping him sleep better. So far he has eaten:. Wednesday, April 2, 2014. Yay for warmer weather and all things outside! Emmett is much more content to stay at home when he can play in the sandbox and the water table (or the hose water). It kills the Extension Agent in me to leave the hose running, but the mom in me loves to see Emmett laugh and scream with joy. At least we don't irrigate our grass:). Tuesday, November 12, 2013. I think Emmett loves being a big brother. He walks out of his room every morning saying "hi Keats" and waving. He already tries to entertain Keats whenever Keats is in the Rock n' Play (even if he is sleeping). Emmett helped gut his first pumpkin. Funnily enough he did not dig right in but was very tentative. Friday, August 23, 2013. Countdown #2 is on. We are counting down to the day we bring home the newest addition to our family. I am 36 weeks tomorrow and feeling a mixture of anticipation and anxiousness. Every other day I feel so winded and tired that I think there is no way I can make it to 40 weeks and then other days I feel great and have plenty of energy and oxygen. I had my 35 week appointment on Tuesday and got to see Keats via ultrasound. He is looking great and is definitely a boy! Manejo Integra...
