What I Don't Understand...: Marriage? Now?
http://sarahmariemacdonald.blogspot.com/2008/10/marriage-now.html
Saturday, October 11, 2008. What I don't understand is teenage marriage. This has been on my mind a lot lately, especially since I just found out one of my high school friends just got married. It confuses the heck out of me. Perhaps I'm missing something, but what is wrong with just. Why do you have to go and marry them at such a young age? Sure, you get a fancy ring. And sure, you get to live together without the funny looks. If you're really happy together, why isn't dating enough? Hey Sarah. Stay...

Bloggin' Wit SaM-1: Holidays = Family Drama
http://sweetaries41688.blogspot.com/2008/11/holidays-family-drama.html
Tuesday, November 25, 2008. Holidays = Family Drama. So I always wondered why the holidays were sometimes dreaded by people, especially people with large families. After watching The Dr. Phil show today, I now understand why. Holidays equal family drama! To see the family drama that was on the show! Here's what I think. First of all, he is too big for that. second of all, he really should know better! But that's just my opinion. what do you think? December 3, 2008 at 2:12 PM. Holidays = Family Drama.

What I Don't Understand...: Grudges
http://sarahmariemacdonald.blogspot.com/2008/09/grudges.html
Sunday, September 28, 2008. What I don't understand is the act of holding a grudge. Not only is it emotionally draining, all it does is perpetuate hate. I'd like to quote my new favorite person Lewis B. Smedes. He says, "To forgive is to set a prisoner free and discover that the prisoner was you." Let's all think about this for a minute. Alrighty then, time to analyze. Personally, I see a grudge as a needle being dug into my insides. Graphic? Yes But I can think of no better comparison. So why do it?

What I Don't Understand...: Dance party downers
http://sarahmariemacdonald.blogspot.com/2008/11/dance-party-downers.html
Sunday, November 16, 2008. What I don't understand is why people go out dancing, but do everything. I recently attended a party at the SAC, which almost everyone knows is a gathering of young people who love to "get crunk". Yes, I love to get crunk from time to time. However, what I don't love is when other party attendees feel the need to stand around and literally stare at everyone on the dance floor. It's not like the blaring music and dark lighting provide ideal conditions for observation. Well I don...

What I Don't Understand...: Racism? Are you kidding me?
http://sarahmariemacdonald.blogspot.com/2008/10/racism-are-you-kidding-me.html
Tuesday, October 14, 2008. Are you kidding me? It seems my blog has progressivly become more serious. Continuing with this trend, I'd like to discuss one of my most important issues yet; racism. I don't get it. While the whole idea seems ridiculous to me, the part that really rubs me the wrong way is belief that one's own race is. In comparison to others. Who decided a group's ancestry/culture placed them ahead of another's? All it means is that those two groups are different. For Example, besides having...

Monday, September 7, 2009. ABDC- Top 5 Crews. Sunday's episode 5 of America's Best Dance Crew (better known as ABDC) brought about the latest dance crazes of this year. However, the judges threw in a challenging prop. all crews had to work in a trampoline into their routine. So, what did the show entail? At the middle of the hour, Rhythm City combined their hip-hop style with the styles of jerking, sending Vogue Evolution and We Are Heroes to the elimination round. Check out the full episode. Every Great Story Has A Beginning. November 28, 2010. Student Hero Newspaper Story. She takes a paintbrush to her canvas and finishes the last touches on the indifferent face of a young African boy. The powerful and motivational qualities of the painting characterize far more than just the boy, though, they represent the artist.
