I know these aren't smiles but look how cute his chubby little toes are! Mom and I always go shopping on Black Friday but this year was a little different. Usually we just go to get some good deals on whatever we can find but this year, there was a camera at Target that I just HAD to get. So, with Target opening at midnight this year, we were there at 10! I was so happy! I had so much to be thankful for this year at Thanksgiving! The GGs with all their greats- Elli loves her cousin Jaren! Boy, oh boy!

It was such a fun experience and he was so proud to finish out the course. It was full of obstacles. a fire pit, crawling under barbed wire, climbing ropes. and so much more! We had a muddy day but it was so much fun! Sunday, we got up early and headed downtown to ride some rental bikes (NiceRide. so great! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

We have so much MN stuff so we decided we needed some Florida stuff for Jaren. We found this onesie at a store in the MOA when Tommie's parents were here. It's a start to the FL collection I'm sure he will acquire! Jaren also got a super cute (and super FULL) Gators piggy bank from Gammy and Grandpa when they were here. He is a daddy's boy through and through! I took a picture of him laying next to this puppy the day we brought him home and it is amazing how much he has grown in just 1 month! Tommie was ...

This 4th of July, my cousin Tomm read the Declaration of Independence at the town festival in Forest Lake. We headed out early to hear the reading. I don't think I've ever heard the whole Declaration read out loud and I'm pretty sure I've never read it for myself. It was so interesting to hear the whole thing read and it was a good reminder of what we really celebrate on the 4th of July. We took in a parade after the reading and then headed home for nap time and some BBQ! No better way to spend our 4th!

I have been wanting to take Jaren to see Santa this season but the lines are always way too long at the malls. plus they charge for the pictures now! So, when I heard someone special was going to be Santa at the Home Depot, we just had to go visit! It's a whole story about how Tommie is his coach and teaches him to be really good at football. SO CUTE! I'm so glad that she allowed me to be a part of it. Here's some pics:. This is Jaren's buddy, Dawson. He's 7 months old! This is Trevor. he LOVES Jaren.

It's been awhile since I've updated anything on here so here's some new pics from the last few weeks. Jaren is trying so hard to crawl now! He hasn't quite got it but it will be any day now. He pulls himself up on his knees and rocks back and forth. Once he figures out what to do with those hands and knees, it's over! So, that being said, thanks Mom for the vacuum so we can keep the floors clean! I'll post pics when I get some from J. I can't believe the wedding is 72 days away! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

http://babypowell2011.blogspot.com/2013/06/what-weekend.html
It was such a fun-filled and busy weekend! I am enjoying my time at home tonight, WITH power! We woke up Friday morning around 330 am to the sound of thunder, lightening and no power. Tommie was home with Jaren all day and the power came back on around 2 pm. Friday night started with a girl's night at Jessi's. We had so much fun! It's always such a good time to get together with my besties and enjoy some drinks and some food! It was so much fun! We got to feed him(? Here's a few pics:. I'm almost excited...

We've taken a couple of trips to local orchards this fall so far. One thing that I LOVE about living in Minnesota is the seasons changing and fall is one of my faves! Look who turned ONE! We had such a FUN day for Jaren's first birthday! It started out with some blueberry waffles and hang out time with Mama. Then, off to daycare for a little party with all of his little friends. I took the day off to get everything ready for the actual party. Thanks to my mom who came out to help me! Mr and Mrs. Smith.

Jaren Lee: Pizza and Movie Night!
http://babypowell2011.blogspot.com/2013/05/pizza-and-movie-night.html
Pizza and Movie Night! Daddy went out to watch the Heat game so it was just me and my boy tonight. We made a homemade pizza and then watched a movie before bedtime. I love spending quality time with this guy! He was laughing out loud at the movie while eating puffcorn and was having so much fun. Not sure what's in for the rest of this rainy Memorial Day weekend. Hopefully we'll have some sunshine tomorrow but it's not looking likely. Have a good Memorial Day weekend! Remember the reason for the day!
