Monday, March 5, 2012. Beet Root Pickle/Beet Root Achar. Eet root – 2 medium. Turmeric powder- ½ tsp. Red chilli powder-1 tbsp. Mustard seed- ½ tsp. Garlic pods - 6 large nos. Green chilli chopped- 2 nos. Powdered jaggery- 1 tsp. Fenugreek seed – ¼ tsp. Cut the beetroot into small cubes. And pressure cooks it with salt, water and turmeric one whistles and release pressure immediately. Take a pan add. Reduce heat, add hing,red chilli powder,fenugreek. Seed and sauté for 2 minutes. Sunday, June 24, 2012. Ragi Ladoo/Finger Millet Laddu. Ragi flour -1 cup. Take a pan fry the sliced coconut with ghee till brown in color. Keep it aside. In the same pan roast ragi flour, with 1-3 tbsp. of ghee for 15-20 minutes on medium heat. Add more ghee if needed. Add the roasted coconut pieces. Allow it to medium cool.
