Ever need to take a beautifully formed webpage and strip out all the tags and junk to just see the text? It is really pretty easy with the PHP strip tags() function. The only catch is that when all the tags are removed, it leaves a pile of attributes. Which if you just need to strip out the text from a simple XML doc or something pretty basic it works great. Just some random thoughts. Sunday, December 04, 2011. I was sitting in Sunday School this morning and heard a verse of scripture I have heard a thousand times for the first time. The scripture is:. Exd 20:7 KJV - Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain. Could it be that when we become Christ. Ians we take His name. If this is the case then what does the word vain mean? Which means emptiness, vanity, or falsehood.
