Will ACME School Of Driving pick me up? Once a lesson or test is scheduled an instructor will pick you up at home and drop you off at home or at the Office. Students will only be picked-up and dropped off at the address on their file, unless an after school appointment is scheduled. Driver Education is a 30 hour course where we follow the strictest guideline program approved by the California Department of Motor Vehicles. Our classroom course is usually given in a four day format from the hours of 8:00am – 3:30pm with a one hour lunch. At completion of the course the students receive a completion certificate (DL400b) issued by the instructor and must be present at the time of the initial application (DL44)at the DMV. Driver Training consists of three, two (2) hour lessons. Within our boundaries we offer free pick-up and drop off for driver training. This course will consist of one-on-one instruction with a student and California licensed driving instructor. At this time the student will begin their two (2) hours of driving. Please have student ready 15 minutes early before each two (2) hour lesson. During each lesson our instructor will cover as many driving situations (residential, traffic, and freeway).
