The Bost Family: He's Got This. Texas Edition
http://www.bostfamilyblog.com/2015/05/hes-got-this-texas-edition.html
Thursday, May 7, 2015. He's Got This. Texas Edition. Jonathan's family lives 4 hours away from us. My sister lived in Atlanta which 14 hours away but we could meet half way between at my parent's house in Baton Rouge. God gave us that and he hasn't stopped there. Now that I look back I can see just how much God has this under control. The house that was only a 10 minute drive down the tollway to the hospital. The hospital that Jonathan received the perfect care with the perfect doctors. Our next door nei...

The Bost Family: Flashbacks
http://www.bostfamilyblog.com/2015/05/flashbacks.html
Friday, May 15, 2015. I keep having flashbacks. Flashbacks to three weeks ago. Flashbacks of Jonathan and I laying in bed. Flashbacks of me having a glass of wine and watching gossip girl (because why are these 16 year olds drinking martini's? And Jonathan laying next to me with his computer open writing code (nerd alert) and eating a bowl of peanuts. Those two people went to bed without a care in the world. Then a series of flashbacks that lead me to the same place. Do I believe God gave Jonathan cancer?

The Bost Family: Laughing when things aren't funny
http://www.bostfamilyblog.com/2015/05/laughing-when-things-arent-funny.html
Wednesday, May 13, 2015. Laughing when things aren't funny. I love to laugh. Jonathan loves to laugh. We love to laugh together. We have from the second we met. He's not just a pretty face, he's one of the funniest people I know and we laugh more than anyone. Laughter is good medicine. I especially love inappropriate situations- they make me laugh more than anything. It's usually an inappropriate time to laugh but I can't help it. Here's a few funnies from the past few weeks. The Bost Family: He meets my needs.
http://www.bostfamilyblog.com/2015/05/he-meets-my-needs.html
Tuesday, May 12, 2015. He meets my needs. I'm going to be honest. Yesterday was hard on me. Yes, I threw God my surrender flag and I asked him to meet my daily needs. And he did. But yesterday was also the first day that Jonathan has been out of my sight in the past two weeks. I've been there. What if he needs me? What if he has another episode? What if I'm the only person who knows how to dial 911? What if he's alone? God through out my day. Thank you, God. 5 I went by my favorite resale shop and they h...

The Bost Family: May 2015
http://www.bostfamilyblog.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
Friday, May 29, 2015. Eyes on the Prize. The past 5 weeks, Jonathan and I have experienced more than any 35 and 30 year old should ever experience. We have seen thing I wish we could unsee. We have heard things I wish we could unhear. We have felt things I wish we could unfeel. We've thought things I wish we could unthink. But there, in all my temporal problems, stands Jesus. 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 “. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions,...

Friday, May 8, 2015. Today we celebrate God's creation and one of the greatest blessings in my life. Today is Henry David's Third Birthday! We prayed for a baby, we waited for a baby, we waited longer for a baby, we surrendered and handed it over to Jesus and He gave us a baby. I'm so thankful that God chose Jonathan and I to be Henry's parents. Happy Birthday my Sweet, Sweet Boy! I know all mamas think their babies are the prettiest BUT look at that face). The Bost Family: Being Thankful.
http://www.bostfamilyblog.com/2015/05/being-thankful.html
Saturday, May 9, 2015. I woke up this morning with my heart overjoyed. My spirit is so thankful and I keep thanking God for all of his blessings. Some of the most mundane are what I am most thankful for and will never take for granted again. I am thankful for Jonathan's whistling. The man can't walk without whistling. From the moment he wakes up he sings. His heart and spirit are always happy. When he is in the shower he sings even louder. May it be a reminder to my spirit to be joyful. 4 King Size Bed.
